Darren Kent, Actor in ‘Game of Thrones,’ Dead at 39

“Game of Thrones” Actor, Darren Kent has passed away at the age of 39.

“Darren Kent died away peacefully on Friday, we must inform you with great grief. He was a close friend and client of ours. He was surrounded by his parents and best buddy. In this sad moment, our hearts and minds are with his family. RIP, my friend.

Early on Tuesday morning, Carey Dodd Associates, his London-based agency, posted the following on social media to confirm the news.

According to the agency’s Instagram post, “Darren was not only a gifted actor, director, and writer, but he was also unquestionably one of the kindest individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Being a part of his journey has been a joy and a pleasure.

Kent’s age at the time of his dying was verified to CNN by Samantha Dodd. The cause of death was not made public.

In a famous 2014 episode of the popular television series “Game of Thrones,” Kent played a goatherder. Ten years prior, in the original “Shameless” series, he received his first screen credit.

Other credits include “Mirrors,” a 2008 horror movie starring Kiefer Sutherland, and “Snow White and the Huntsman,” a 2012 film. Kent performed in “Community” and the BBC’s “EastEnders” on television.

On his IMDb website, the actor listed six projects that were in the works, including a number of short films and the movie “What I Know.”
