Sam Asghari and Britney Spears Officially File For Divorce

Sam Asghari filed divorce from Spears after a year citing differences.

Sam Asghari stated their separation took place on July 28 in the divorce papers that were submitted. He also demanded payment for spousal support and legal costs from the Toxic hitmaker.

The aspiring actor made the startling decision on Wednesday, just hours after it was rumored that he and the pop star had split up over adultery claims against the singer.

Among the documents submitted, the Can You Keep a Secret? Neal Hersh, the star’s attorney, hinted that Asghari would fight the prenup. Confirming rumors that he is pressuring Spears to revise their prenup.

The divorce papers stated that “He has yet to determine the full nature and extent of the separate property assets and obligations of each party,” according to TMZ.

The document continued, “There are different community and quasi-community assets and debts. The full nature and amount of which Sam are unknown at this time.

Spears, meantime, was caught driving her Mercedes-Benz in Los Angeles on the same day her estranged husband filed for divorce without wearing her wedding band.

Speaking of their divorce, an insider stated that Spears has insisted she did not cheat on Asghari. Admitting the singer is “hurt” and “has not been doing well.”

“Sam and Britney have broken up. The singer of Hold Me Closer is convinced that she did not cheat, according to the source. The two had been at odds for some time before a dramatic blowup caused it to end.

After her sons, Sean and Jayden, whom she has with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, went to Hawaii without saying goodbye to her, Spears was dealt a blow.
